Leo Kuschel died at his home on April 12th. 2016. Leo had many illnesses, he was 83. He was a wonderful husband for almost 60 years, a loving father of four and grandfather of five. And of course a great artist. Many people knew him as a lighthouse painter, but he painted in every media and style. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

- Sue Kuschel

Even with being ill Leo continued to paint and study art up until his passing. Leo’s artwork will be in the Rivers Edge Gallery Christmas Show this year and continue to be sold in the gallery.   Sue will be continue to have his work at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair and other shows. You will also be able to purchase Leo’s drawings and paintings directly from Sue. Leo also had a large collection of art books that will also be for sale.

Leo may not be with us anymore, but his memory and art will be with us forever.

Sue can be reached at Kuschel Studios (734) 287-6318
